I knew that labor does not come cheap in the Netherlands, but I would never expect to pay in total 1000 euros for a service on my van. 500 euros were for 10 hours of work and the rest for spare parts. They changed oils, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter. They also cleaned parts of the engine (don't really know which and they did not really explained). Also, the brake hoses were replaced, add new brake liquid, and bleed the brake system.
Finally, the cranked anti roll bar link was broken and needed to be replaced. They did not had a spare part, so they welded. I don't know how much they charged me for that, but the weld broke in the first pump. I found a new one on the web from justkampers.com which I ordered and soon I will replace it.
They also told me that I have to change the metal rusted pipes of the cooling system that runs from the radiator in the front to the engine in the rear. I order those from justkampers.com too, but I wont be changing it anytime soon. I need to find a do-it-yourself garage around Amsterdam and go there to jack the van up and work on it. Anyone knows any place for that?
